The White House,
February 17, 1912.

It is hereby ordered that the following-described lands in New Mexico, being a part of the lands heretofore set aside as an Executive reservation for the Navajo Indians and eliminated from said reserva- tion by Executive order of January 16, 1911, be, and the same are hereby, restored to the status existing before said order of January 16, 1911, the purpose being to admit of the consummation of an exchange under the act of April 21, 1904 (33 Stat. L., p. 211), initiated prior to said elimination, viz, all odd-numbered sections in townships 22 north of ranges 11 and 12 west, New Mexico principal meridian; and it is further ordered that upon completion of said exchange and after allotment to the Indians any remaining lands shall be opened to disposition by the Secretary of the Interior in such manner and after such notice as he may prescribe.
