New Federal Flat Rate Tax

Question 1: Do you favor replacing our outrageously complicated federal tax code with a simple Flat Tax system that would make your taxes simple and lower -- and be fairer for all?

Question 2: A federal Flat Tax system -- applied equally to all -- would finally close the tax loopholes and special privileges career politicians in Washington give to their powerful “pet” special interest cronies in exchange for election campaign contributions. Experts believe this is the root of the uncontrolled, reckless spending that is bankrupting America. Do you agree?

Question 3: Instead of having to wade through the mind-boggling 74,608 pages of the present tax code, you could file your taxes on a piece of paper the size of a postcard
-- virtually eliminating the bloated, tyrannical and out-of-control IRS. Do you favor eliminating the IRS?

Question 4: Do you think the Flat Tax should preserve mortgage interest and charitable donation deductions?

Question 5: Alarmingly, America’s economic freedom ranking has plummeted to 11th over 
the last 8 years and is projected to continue to fall as massive overspending and fiscal irresponsibility in Washington continues. But a host of economic experts say adoption of the Flat Tax can stop America’s impending economic collapse and reignite our economy by creating atleast 5 million jobs, increasing wages by 12% and boosting our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by almost 14%. Do you agree adopting the Flat Tax system would help put America and Americans back on the road to economic recovery?

Question 6: The Flat Tax is not a new idea. It was rigorously supported by forward-thinking, pro-growth, limited government stalwarts like the late President Ronald Reagan and a cadre of economic experts like Nobel-prize winning economist Milton Friedman. A Democrat-controlled Congress -- which bitterly opposed tax and spending reforms -- kept it from passing back then.
