Liberals are strongly opposed to a House bill that would speed up deportations by amending current law and providing funding for additional judges for deportation hearings. The bill may pass the House today.
Contrary to some rumors, the bill does not include funding to bring refugees into the United States.

The IRS has determined ACL to be a 501(c)(4) organization, exempt from Federal income tax. Contributions to ACL are not subject to FEC regulation or disclosure requirements, and corporate donations are permitted.
