Deported Sex Offender Found Hiding in 138-Migrant Group at Border Checkpoint. Over the weekend, two human smuggling attempts in commercial vehicles were stopped at USBP checkpoints resulting the arrest of 138 illegal aliens. Apprehended within one of the commercial vehicles was a convicted sex offender.

An illegal alien was arrested by ICE on Dec. 31, 2020, after his release from U.S. Bureau of Prisons at North Lake Correctional Facility in Baldwin, Michigan, following completion of a 30-year federal sentence on charges of conspiracy to possess cocaine, possession, conspiracy to import cocaine, importation of cocaine and use of a communications device in the commission of a felony.

Border Officers Capture 68 Illegal Aliens and Shut Down Four Stash Houses in Texas. The Border Patrol arrested 18 illegal aliens and then uncovered a network of “stash houses” used in a smuggling ring to harbor illegal aliens. The 68 illegal aliens were arrested at the four locations. One unaccompanied child was encountered within the group. The aliens were from Central America and Mexico.
